Mandatory Orientation: Friday, June 9th. 1:00 - 3pm Location: Rocky Mountain Welcome Center 10760 E Iliff Ave. Aurora, CO 80014 When: Workshops are Mondays through Thursdays, 1 - 4pm Starting June 12 through July 17th GRW is a fun, interactive, multicultural program geared for young women ages 15-20 years. Participants are led by RMWC instructors to explore how to navigate biculturalism, expectations of parents, expectations country of origin vs. USA, values, cultural and social identity, social determinants of heath, conflict management, and healthy peer relationships. Immigrant integration stands as a pressing concern for any community, often surpassing the capacity of local governments to address all unique needs adequately.
